Computer scientists from BYE BYE 404 and the University of the Llanos presented two research papers at the Latin American and Caribbean Conference for Engineering and Technology in Peru.
Two scientific papers by students from the University of the Llanos were accepted to the Latin American and Caribbean Conference for Engineering and Technology (LACCEI). In this year, the conference takes place in Lima, Peru, from July 18 to 20.
Between October 25 and November 8 2017 the first cohort of the data analysis team was trained and certified at the Punto Vive Digital Lab Villavicencio[1]. The objetive of the training sessions was to develop basic understanding of the underlying web technologies and collaborative tools behind BYE BYE 404.
On June 27, 2017 the group of interns presented their results at VillaDevs. During the event, the interns discussed technical details of the work performed along the 16-week period.
Two interns and one collaborator will join the development team at BYE BYE 404 to enhance our flagship product. The newcomers are students from the Universidad de los Llanos and are expected to start their duties on mid February 2017. During the 16-week period, the students are responsible to contribute with software development tasks and to write an academic paper describing the work done.
