Seed Project Development for Online Stores Based on Django Technology

Abstract

The steps in evolution are guiding commerce in new directions, opening paths in the internet age and changing the traditional way of buying and selling. This is how e-commerce (e-commerce) emerged. Therefore, and with the goal of entering this market, businesses are looking for software companies to help them develop a website where they can offer their products.

To meet this demand, Enciso Systems has a seed project for online stores that allows for the development of various projects. The Django web framework was used for the project's development, in which both the content management system (CMS) and the e-commerce platform were developed.

The CMS includes three applications, allowing users to easily manage navigation menu content, page content, and article publishing from the Django admin panel. For e-commerce, an application was implemented where products can be entered, categories and subcategories created, and customer orders and payments viewed. Another application was also implemented to manage customer registration.

The virtual store was developed to serve as a foundation for any type of e-commerce platform and therefore lacks content. Enciso Systems was chosen to implement the initial project. During this implementation, pages and articles were generated with company content, and some merchandising products were published.
