Reconstruction of a Graphical User Interface (GUI) Based on React Technology for a Web Application for Broken Link Maintenance
IntermediateAbstract
Web development technologies are constantly changing and evolving. These emerging technologies are applied to projects to improve or add functionality. In recent years, frameworks, libraries, and tools like React JS and Angular have led the development of the frontend layer in projects, displacing other solutions such as templates that require significant effort to maintain.
Many of the websites and web applications that function or can be found on the internet today are based on templates. While these templates can make things easier and save developers time, they are designed by third parties, which can limit or slow down the design update process. By switching from template technology to using a frontend library, it is expected that the maintainability of web applications will be improved.
In the case of the BYE BYE 404 web application, its interface was developed with a template system, which was then updated through a technology change to take advantage of the benefits of a Javascript library like React JS, which provides more flexibility and facilitates its maintenance.
